Welcome to Play and Learn Christian Preschool and Childcare Center! Begun in 1980 by Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Play & Learn has been in operation for more than 25 years, serving the children and families of Worthington and surrounding areas.

Play & Learn is licensed by the State of Ohio and in the Fall of 2006 received the highest ranking available under Ohio’s “Step Up To Quality” pilot program, which evaluates childcare facilities. We offer quality child care for infants as young as six weeks old through toddler age, as well as a fun and educational curriculum for pre-school, pre-K, and our Kindergarten class. We also offer after school care and summer care for children up to age ten. In addition to experienced teachers and nurturing caregivers, Play & Learn provides children with warm meals for breakfast and lunch, as well as snacks, and provides a variety of educational, developmental, and entertainment activities for the children, all in a safe, caring, Christian environment.

Some important enrollments dates are:

• Kindergarten Open House for interested parents is held in March. Come and meet Miss Annette, who has “graduated” some amazing students from her program over her 16 year tenure!

• Summer Program Enrollment occurs in April/May Demand for summer enrollment is high; reserve your place early if you are interested.

We offer full and part time schedules, and our low student-to-teacher ratios ensure every child receives the attention and care they need while they play and learn.
