Faith Formation for Youth Grades 6 – 12Middle school youth in grades 6-8 participate in our Confirmation program. New this year is a retreat format to our program. The students will participate in 3 day-long retreats throughout the school year: a fall retreat on Martin Luther and 2 day retreats centered on the topic for the year - the 10 Commandments. Also included in the year's activities is a weekend retreat at a Lutheran Outdoor Ministries camp in January. On Sundays, the students' time is spent in a small group where Bible study, faith discussions, and life sharing are the focus. Leadership on Sundays is under an adult guide/mentor. Monthly fellowship and service are an important element of the program as well. Service activities include the CROP Walk, congregational neighborhood service day and serving breakfasts at the Clintonville Resource Center. For more information concerning this program, please contact Terri Siebert, Director of Learning and Family Ministries, at 614-885-4319.
High School youth meet weekly on Sunday mornings for a variety of study topics in Bible, current events in the world, spirituality, and Christian living. They also meet regularly for fellowship and service activities. Click here for more information.
