Katrina Relief

Several members of Gethsemane have helped in the ongoing rebuilding of the Gulf Region after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Through Lutheran Disaster Response and Camp Biloxi a group from Gethsemane went to the Mississippi Gulf region in Spring 2007. Since then, several individuals have gone to serve on their own. They have helped with beach cleanup, home rebuilding, and providing healthcare. If you would like to volunteer in the Gulf Coast as an individual or part of a group, contact the Mission and Ministry Committee to find out how.

Since April 2008 Camp Biloxi has been a part of RAI Ministries which is a Lutheran ministry organizing hurricane recovery efforts in New Orleans and Biloxi.
