Lutheran World Relief (LWR) works in overseas development and relief on behalf of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. LWR links 95 partner organizations overseas, 2,800 U.S. parish groups, the ELCA World Hunger Appeal and LCMS World Relief for the purpose of aiding those in great need.
Bread for the World is a nationwide Christian Citizen’s movement that seeks justice for the world’s hungry people by lobbying our nation’s decision makers.
Bread for the World advocates to fight misconceptions, achieve real welfare reform, create jobs that pay and reduce hunger worldwide.
