OUR MUSICAL GIFTS

Gethsemane is blessed with many talented musicians who add greatly to the worship experience. If you have vocal ability or play an instrument, there are many opportunities to put your talents to use either as a soloist, a member of an ensemble or a larger choir.

Traditional Choir sings at the 11:15 traditional service each Sunday, September through May, with rehearsals on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. We invite you to join us – there can never be too many voices!

Contemporary Choir leads all the music at the 9:00 a.m. contemporary worship service year round. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 7:45 p.m. during the school year and on Sunday mornings immediately following worship during the summer. Please contact the Contemporary Choir Director if you would like to sing with us!

Junior Choir, for grades 3 – 8, practices on Sundays from 12:15 – 1:00 p.m. and sing several times at worship throughout the school year.

Adult Handbell Choir, for high school youth and adults, practices on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and provides music for worship several times a year.

Instrumental and Vocal Ensembles such as a brass band, woodwind quintet, vocal quartet or duet are all ways you can use your gifts to sing God’s praises.

Instrumental and Vocal Soloists are encouraged to share their individual talents during the worship services.
