READERS

Lesson readers for services. Must be able to read or have Bible committed to memory. Training provided for old Testament names and cities. God provides the courage and diction.

USHERS

Job Skills: Passing out bulletins, collecting offerings, bringing offerings to altar, welcoming and assisting people to communion. Preference given to applicants who smile and say hello.

ACOLYTES

Improve your strength and stamina in just weeks as an acolyte! On the job training to: carry a very large Bible, collect offering plates, hold up a very heavy cross, light and extinguish candles, help with communion and sit up front! Generally prefer ages 8-14, but all ages welcome!

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

Be the first in your congregation to receive communion! Duties will then consist of offering bread and/or wine in various ways to the rest of the congregation. No experience necessary.

COMMUNION CARE

Are you a "behind the scenes" kind of Lutheran (well which Lutheran isn’t)? Then this is the job for you! Set up the elements for communion and a short clean up afterwards and you’ll never have to stand up in front of the congregation again! Training provided.
