August 31 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am

Join us as we launch a brand-new sermon series called “Comeback Season: Finding Our Way Again.” Starting on Sunday, August 17, this five-week series will carry us through the heart of
September, right alongside our fall program kickoff. It’s designed to meet you where you are — whether you’re riding high or feeling a little lost, whether you’ve been here every Sunday or are wondering if you still belong.

Because here’s the truth: God loves a good comeback story.

Comeback stories aren’t just for sports teams who finally break their losing streak, or celebrities trying to reclaim the spotlight. Comebacks are part of God’s story — and ours. The Bible is full
of them: people who wandered, doubted, fell flat on their faces… and yet God wasn’t done with them. People like Moses, who ran away but found his way back to lead. People like Peter, who denied Jesus three times but was called to feed his sheep. People like the woman who had been bent over for 18 years until Jesus healed her, lifting her up in more ways than one.

“Comeback Season” is about remembering that no matter how far we wander, God is always calling us back. Back to hope. Back to joy. Back to our purpose. Back to each other. Back to the heart of Jesus, where grace is always waiting and new beginnings are always possible. Back to Love God and to Love People. Each week, we’ll hear stories from Scripture that invite us to think about what it looks like to reclaim our passion, reignite our faith, and return to the life God dreams for us:

  •  August 17 – Fired Up Again (Luke 12:49-56): Jesus reminds us that faith isn’t about comfort — it’s about passion. Sometimes God sets a holy fire in us to wake us up and call us back to what really matters.
  •  August 24 – Back on Track (Luke 13:10-17): A woman who’s been bent over for years is healed, reminding us that Jesus sees us, lifts us up, and puts us back on our feet.
  •  August 31 – Seats at the Table (Luke 14:1, 7-14): Jesus shows us that humility and hospitality matter more than status and recognition. At God’s table, there’s always room for one more.
  •  September 7 – Counting the Cost (Luke 14:25-33): Jesus invites us to consider what it really means to follow — because every comeback costs something, but it’s always worth it.
  •  September 14 – Lost & Found (Luke 15:1-10): God’s joy is in the finding — whether it’s a lost sheep, a lost coin, or a lost heart. Grace always goes looking for us.
