Advent Tree of Needs

During Advent we will collect gifts for Faith Mission/CHOICES, Food Pantry Children, and the Food Pantry Shelves. Choose a wish to fulfill, then place the unwrapped item in the box in the Atrium. Finally place an ornament on the tree. By the deadline of Sunday, Dec.14, we should have a tree filled with ornaments and boxes filled with gifts.

1. FOOD PANTRY CHILDREN: If you would like to get Christmas gifts for one of our food pantry children, sign up in the narthex OR contact Jane Sieberth and let her know. She will send you the child’s name, gender, age, and wish list. The more people who respond, the more kids we can give gifts to!
   • We suggest that you spend $50 per child OR make a contribution (any amount) for someone else to make your purchase.
   • Return the gifts, unwrapped, to Gethsemane by Sunday, Dec. 14
2. FOOD PANTRY SHELVES: Due to the increased demand, we need help in keeping our pantry shelves stocked. You may make a monetary gift to the Food Pantry to help stock their empty shelves. Envelopes are in the narthex. Or purchase items from their most needed list. These may be placed in their collection bin by the mailboxes or the one in the Mult-Purpose Room.
   • Cereal
   • Hearty soups
   • Diapers (size 3 and higher)
   • Baby wipes
   • Canned tuna
   • Canned chicken
   • Snacks
   • Spaghetti
   • Canned fruits
   • Vegetables
   • Beans
3. FAITH MISSION/CHOICES: If you’d like to get needed items (new only) for Faith Mission/CHOICES, they are:
   • Adult Athletic Pants (S – 3XL)
   • Adult Insulated Gloves
   • Baby Sippy Cup and/or Bottle
   • Baby Wipes and/or diaper cream
   • Bath Towel and/or washcloths
   • Body Wash (Gender Neutral)
   • Hand or Body Lotion
   • Household Cleaning Supplies
   • Men’s Coats
   • Men’s Deodorant
   • Men’s Sweatshirts (M-3XL)
   • Men’s Underwear (S – 3XL)
