The Reconciling in Christ (RIC) Program is for congregations, synods, colleges, seminaries, and other Lutheran organizations that publicly welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people into their communities.

On Feb 17, 2013, Gethsemane Lutheran Church voted to be a Reconciling in Christ congregation. Several years before this decision, Gethsemane wrote and agreed on a public statement of Welcome which reflected many years of actively welcoming all people in our congregation.

We make no exception on who we welcome into worship, leadership, sacraments, teaching, and all participation in our congregation. Everyone is really welcome!
