Theology, in the words of St. Anselm of Canterbury, is “faith seeking understanding.” At Gethsemane, we’re intentional about bringing faith into conversation with the complex questions and problems of our day. This is how we grow spiritually and intellectually as individuals and as a community. Whether you’ve been involved with church throughout your life or are new to the Christian faith, we welcome you and your questions!
God calls us to be generous as God is generous. We are God’s hands in the world, working for positive change by sharing our time, talents, and wealth. Our online giving provides a safe and secure way to make a donation to support Gethsemane’s ministries.
Gethsemane’s Food Pantry has been serving the people of North Clintonville (Columbus, OH) and Broad Meadows since 2014!
Every Wednesday, we give out fresh produce, groceries, dairy products, and smiles from 4-6 pm.
In recent years, the need in the community has increased. We now serve more than twice as many families as we did in earlier years. At the same time, funding sources from grants and the federal and state governments have decreased. More than ever, we need your help to keep this vital mission going. Your donation will go directly to the food we buy and distribute to our customers.
If you live in the area, stop by some Wednesday to say hello!
One of the blessings at Gethsemane is our partnership with Ibada Ya Kiswahili (Worship in Swahili). The people of IYK come from Tanzania, Kenya, and other parts of Africa. We are joined by the Swahili language and our love of Jesus Christ and our wish to spread the Gospel to others!
IYK periodically sponsors special programs and one time events such as touring music groups. By donating, you can help support these events in the future.
