Our next in-person outdoor worship is on October 18th. If it rains, the outdoor service will be delayed until the next Sunday. Video worship will continue every week.
Please come if you feel comfortable doing so, and bring masks and your own chairs. We will have extra chairs for you if you cannot bring your own. Everyone will be seated at a social distance from others.
You will be shown to a spot at a safe distance from others. Please keep your mask on during the service.
If you have risk factors, the CDC recommends that you do not participate. Also, we are asking, if you have a temperature over 100 or you are not feeling well or have symptoms of COVID-19 (coughing, body aches, shortness of breath) please attend the video worship rather than coming in person.
The next Book Group meeting on ZOOM will be Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 7:00pm when a discussion of This Tender Land written by William Kent Krueger is led by Joy McLemore.
Start thinking of new books to discuss. At the Nov. 24th meeting choices will be made for the 2020-2021 season.
If you have questions or want to be added to the email list contact Carol at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are having a Trunk or Treat event in our parking lot for our Gethsemane, Play & Learn, and Food Pantry children! We need YOU to decorate your car (or table) and hand out candy or other treats to children. (We will have safe parameters to give you.) If you don’t want to decorate anything, you could just come and help too. Halloween fun for our kids! To participate, e-mail email@example.com or call the church office (614-885-4319).
FALL SERVICE DAY is Saturday, Nov. 14, plus days during the following week. If you can help with outdoor (only) cleanup jobs such as leaf raking, please contact Jim Siebert or Char Jessie at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office (614-885-4319).
